Kelsey Trail Health Region participates in Accreditation Canada's Qmentum accreditation program. As part of this ongoing process of quality improvement, an on-site survey was conducted in September 2014. Information from the on-site survey, which took place September 21 - 26, 2014, as well as other data obrtained from the organization were used to produce KTHR's 2014 Accreditation Report.
2014 Employee & Physician Engagement Survey
Physicians, managers and staff from health regions throughout the province were invited to participate in the 2014 employee and physician engagement survey. The survey, conducted by AON Hewitt, was completed in January and February of 2014. In total, 25 percent of KTHR employees completd the surveyBased on the survey resutls, the engagement score of
employees in KTHR as determined by AON Hewitt was 44 percent. The physician engagement score was 33 percent. Survey results for KTHR are as follows:
Community Wellness Assessments are conducted by members of the Primary Health Care Provider Team in an effort to achieve the region’s vision for “Healthy People in Healthy Communities”. The focus of a community wellness assessment is to address illness prevention and community wellness needs through consultation and collaboration with community members that ultimately leads to an improved quality of life for the entire community.
